Putting the final touches on my Persian cookbook

 In Book, Photography

It’s been quite a journey putting together my début Persian cookbook, The Saffron Tales. From the initial Kickstarter in 2013, via two research trips to Iran in 2013 and 2015 and a lot of recipe testing in my London kitchen, I’m really excited to now be putting the final touches on the book – it goes to print next week!

This month we have been working on the design and layout of the book and I’m thrilled to say it is all looking very beautiful. One of the funniest aspects of this stage of the production process has been going through the dazzling travel and food photography shots we’ve collected.

To give you a taste of what is to come here are some behind the scenes shots from the last day of my photo-shoot for the book that took place last month. Massive thanks to Rosie Reynolds for her fab food styling and Matt Russell for his stunning photography.

To learn how to cook these recipes and pick up some secret Persian cookery tips and tricks of your own, come along to my next Persian cookery class on Saturday 13th Feb – there are just a few spaces left so grab them while you can.
